Mornings that run on their own.

Kids earn points. You get some life back.

Maya taps Brush teeth and Get dressed. They are part of her routine, which her parent trusts, so each one checks right away and her points go from 10 to 20 to 30. Then she taps Learn something new, a one-off task worth 100, and it waits for a grown-up. A parent approves it from their phone, and her points go to 130. A parent gives her 25 bonus points for a jiu-jitsu stripe, so she has 155. In her store, 15 minutes of screen time costs 50 and a day with Dad costs 300. She gets the screen time, her points drop to 105, and the reward waits for a grown-up to hand it over.

The whole picture

Kids tap on the family tablet. You approve from your phone, and both update right away.

It runs in the browser on tablets, phones and computers, with no app store download.

Maya taps Get dressed on the family tablet. A parent swipes to approve on their phone, and her points go up.

Set it up once, then stop repeating yourself.

  1. You set up the day.

Add routines, chores and rewards, or start from a ready-made morning pack. You give each task an icon, a time of day and a point value.

  2. Kids tap it done.

Your kid taps each step on the tablet as they finish it. Every task has an icon, so kids who can't read yet can follow along.

  3. Kids trade points for rewards.

You approve with a swipe on your phone, or trust a routine so its taps count right away. Kids save up for screen time, allowance, privileges or treats.

Easy enough for a five-year-old.

Tap a few tasks below. This is Maya's morning as she sees it on the tablet.

  • Brush teeth+10 points, done

Learn something new is worth 100 points, so it waits for your OK either way.

Who approves what

Routine tasks

Approved automatically if you trust them. Turn on Auto approve for Maya, tap Trust routine, and her trusted routine tasks count the moment she taps.

Just-for-today tasks

Wait for you on Approvals. So does any task worth 20 points or more, trusted or not.

Want to check every tap yourself? Leave Auto approve off, and everything waits for you. Swipe each one or tap Approve all.

  • Icons on every task

Each task has an icon, so kids who can't read yet know what to do.

  • Big buttons

The whole row is the button, and it's big enough for small fingers.

  • They see it count

Maya's tap shows an hourglass until you approve it. Then she gets a big green check and her stars go up. Trust a routine and she gets both right away.

  • A second chance

Send a task back and your kid sees it in peach with “Try it again!”, your note, and an “I did it!” button.

You run it from your phone.

On the family tablet, the parent side sits behind your PIN. Anything a kid taps on the tablet shows up on your phone right away.

Approve with a swipe

Swipe right to approve and left to send it back with a note. Tap Approve all to clear everything one kid has waiting.

Bonus points for real life

Give Theo bonus points for a new jiu-jitsu stripe in a few taps. The reason list starts with that stripe, then kindness, listening and helping. You can add your own.

A clear history

See each point your kids earned and spent, by week, month or year, and who approved it. If someone tapped the wrong thing, you can undo it.

Bring in other grown-ups

Invite a co-parent by email, or a grandparent or sitter as a guardian who can approve tasks and give points. Each name shows on the approvals they made.

Questions parents ask

How much does Kudoward cost?

Free in beta.

What ages is it for?

Built for kids about 4 to 8, with an icon on every task for kids who can't read yet. It works for older kids too, who can save up for bigger rewards.

Does each kid need their own device?

No. One shared tablet works for the whole family. Each kid has their own list, and you can give each one a 4-digit code so siblings can't spend each other's points.

Do kids need an email address?

No. Kids don't need to log in or have an email address. You log in as the parent.

What if my kid taps something they didn't do?

Tasks wait for your OK unless you've trusted the routine. Send it back with a note and they'll see “Try it again!” with your words. Kids can also take back a tap they made by accident.

Can I choose the rewards?

Yes. You set every reward and its price in points. You can also start from ready-made packs for screen time, treats and privileges, or allowance.

Try it tomorrow morning.

Add your kids and a morning routine tonight, then hand over the tablet at breakfast.
