Delete your account

In Kudoward, open the More menu and tap Delete account, under Danger Zone. We delete your login, passkeys and sessions right away and remove you from every family. If you are the only adult in a family, the family is deleted too; if another parent can take over, you can hand it over first. We email a verified address to confirm.

You do not need the app for this. You can also email hello@kudoward.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it is you, then delete your sign-in account.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in account, passkeys and sessions, and your access to every family.
The family, if you were its only adult, with its profiles, tasks, rewards and other records. Otherwise the family stays with its other adults. Photo files are removed within 7 days.

What stays, and for how long

Sign-in and request attempt records, deleted after 90 days.
Nightly encrypted backups, each deleted within 90 days.
A record that consent was given, if the family stays. It has no name or email.
A record that a family was deleted, with record counts and the date. It has no family name.

Delete your family's data

In Kudoward, open the More menu, then Privacy and consent. You can take back consent or delete a child's data there. To delete the whole family, open Danger Zone in the same menu. That needs the family owner and the family PIN.
